About
The goal of this website is to provide information for Catholics and non-Catholics alike. It is dedicated to helping rid of negative connotations many have of Catholic apologia. Yes, apologetics can have a reverse effect on some but sometimes we do have to roll up our sleeves and be prepared to defend our faith against the ill-informed. It must be stated however that we are not opportunistic and we truly are not here to be mean-spirited, triumphalistic or be arrogant. Apologia to us, is not about winning but about imparting information and touching the ears of those who condemn or attack.
Cathopologist [pronounced = Kath-uh-pol-o-jist] Cath – abbreviation for Catholic [pronounced = Kath-uh-lik] pologist – abbreviation for Apologist [pronounced = uh-pol-uh-jist] A Catholic who argues in defense or justification for the Catholic Church and her teachings.
We are Catholic lay apologists but we do not make any apologies for our beliefs. We want Catholics to become better informed Catholics and non-Catholics to be informed and hopefully be led into the fullness of the faith.
“Our faith is not born from a myth or an idea, but from an encounter with the Risen One, in the life of the Church.” - Pope Benedict XVI
“Brethren and fathers, hear my defense which I now offer to you…” – Acts 22:1
